Improving Access to Government
The LWV strives to improve public access to government by observing meetings. Reports regarding the content of those meetings and the body's adherence to open meeting laws are then recorded. The LWV-NPC voted to make these reports public as of May 2022. Currently, the government meetings observed by LWV-NPC are the Aurora Board of Education, Aurora City Council, and Crestwood Board of Education.
